ノボリの補修
今日は朝から祭礼団の役員で、のぼりを修理に出しに行ってきました。
私は知らなかったのですが、島内にも一件だけダンジリの修理が出来るところがあるそうです。
思っていた以上に工場は大きく職人の方も大勢いるようでした。
出てきた親方らしき人はいかにもダンジリ一筋という感じの方でした。
職人の方の仕事場に行くと、その技にいつも見入ってしまいます。

だんじりは、いつですか？秋なのかな。
いいですね。だんじりとかお祭り大好きです。
職人、生まれ変わったら、なりたい職業です。

お祭りは毎年１０月の第三週の日曜日です。
今年は練習期間が個展と重なっているので、バタバタしそうで心配です。
ここ数年、お祭りやイベント事は主催側の立場で動く事が多くなってきました。
やってみて感じた事は、参加する側の方が楽しいという事です。
もちろん中心になって動く事から得る達成感はあるのですが、何よりも大切にすべきなのは土を触り続けている時間だなぁ、と今さらながらに実感しています。
と、言いつつも時間があればあるでダラダラしてしまうので、結局はこれでいいのかもしれませんね。。。
振り返ると、こういう忙しい時に後々の財産になるような出会いや発見があるようにも思います。
そう考えると楽しみになってきますね！
